Women’s and Men’s National Teams Compete at the Most Important Event of the Year
In December 2025, Brasil Lacrosse reached a defining moment as both the Women’s and Men’s National Teams competed at the Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) Sixes Cup in Humacao, Puerto Rico. As the most important event of the 2025 year for the Confederação Brasileira de Lacrosse (CBL), the tournament marked a major step forward in Brazil’s international presence and its long-term Olympic pathway.

The competition brought together national teams from across the Americas — including the Haudenosaunee Nationals, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Brasil — all competing in the fast-paced Sixes format, which will make its Olympic debut at the LA28 Olympic Games.

Women’s National Team: A Historic Debut and a Near-Podium Finish
The Seleção Feminina made history in Puerto Rico, competing as Brazil’s first-ever Women’s National Lacrosse Team on the international stage — and delivering results that announced Brazil as a rising force in Sixes lacrosse.

- 4th place overall, narrowly missing the medal podium with the 9–8 loss to Argentina in overtime
- First-ever international win: 7–5 victory over Mexico

History was made in Puerto Rico and the journey is just beginning.
